I don’t know about you, but somedays I just need to take a walk. I need to get away from the computer, away from all of the words, updates, stress, so I can go out and move. When I left the house yesterday morning I couldn’t help noticing a little extra color on all of the trees. Fall is slowly taking over my neighborhood and it looks beautiful. The golden yellow bursting out of the top of the trees and the cherry red leaves dangling from the branches lifted my spirits so much that I knew I needed to get out later and enjoy it up close. So, at the end of the day, I grabbed my camera and went out to capture the falling leaves, enjoy the nice weather, and take a deep breath or two. The past few weeks (months, actually) have been a big waiting game. I just needed a minute to remember and appreciate everything that is right in front of me instead of always waiting for what’s coming next.
That last photo is probably one of my favorites. It has a “light at the end of the tunnel” feel to it, doesn’t it? 😉
What do you like to do when you need a break?
